Knowing how to approach women is the most essential thing you can do right now to enhance your dating life.

It’s a fact that every Saturday night, a countless number of men around the planet, from California to Brazil, put on their sharpest clothes and head to the popular pickup spots in the hopes of getting lucky with a girl. Sure, they might pretend like they’re  merely going out to socialize with their buddies, but loads of them are in fact aiming to get lucky tonight.

And that’s where they make their first error: viewing their mission tonight in terms of “getting lucky.” The majority of men really believe that scoring with a hottie at a bar is about luck, fate, or happening to be in the right place at the right time.

These guys fail to grasp that when it comes to how to approach women, there are some “classic errors” that guys make constantly — ruining their chances without even knowing it — and that there are dependable tactics you can make use of to practically guarantee a victorious outcome.

In the mind of one man, “success” might mean having a conversation with a cool girl and going home with her phone number. For guys who’ve mastered the “game” of pickup, success is defined differently. Ask them about how to approach women, and they’ll declare that anything short of a “same night lay” — bringing a stunner home with them TONIGHT — is a wasted evening.

The problem is that 95% of guys have no idea how to approach a woman. Fundamentally, they are too scared to approach women because of the significant amount of UNCERTAINTY that is involved.

Think about it. What runs through your head when you catch sight of a woman at a nightclub that you would  really like to talk to? You might be thinking…

“A hottie THAT gorgeous must already have a boyfriend.”
“A guy like me isn’t her type.”
“She doesn’t look like she’s in the mood to be disturbed.”

And then of course, there’s the standard guy excuse…

“I’d like to approach her, but what the heck am I supposed to say to her?”

What’s happening here is that you are merely thinking about the possible NEGATIVE outcomes. This is because you’ve conditioned yourself to believe that the most likely conclusion, when you aim to approach women, is that they won’t want to talk to you.

And so of course, for guys who aren’t sure how to approach women, this regularly becomes the result. And after going through this awkward process dozens, perhaps hundreds of times, these guys stop approaching women altogether.

This type of guy will figure, “why bother? She’s simply going to respond the way the last 63  women did. She won’t be interested for some reason, and then I’ll have to undergo the humiliation of walking away with my tail between my legs.”

I’m here to tell you that you can find out how to approach women in a way that is confident, playful and most of all Tactical. There are some powerful, precise “openers” you can apply with girls that will make them curious, and capture their attention.

My wingman and I have tried out every one of these techniques out in the field hundreds of times, to guarantee that these are the very finest ways to “break the ice” and establish an interaction.

Girls will no longer see you as some inept, insecure guy who is hoping to NOT get turned down. Rather, females will straight away sense that you’re a dude who can bring MORE FUN to their night.

The guys at my gym still look at me with awe, and ask how I managed to nail “Anna Kournikova.”

No, I didn’t actually sleep with that unbelievably hot Russian tennis player who is also a worldwide sex symbol. But there WAS a girl at my gym who looked JUST like her — so much so that we all referred to her (behind her back) by that nickname.

And we ALL would have crawled a mile over broken glass to bang her! This girl was BEYOND hot, and she was Russian, too (with a super-sexy accent). She would show up at the gym wearing skimpy little spandex shorts that revealed a world-class ass, and a skin-tight top that showed off breasts that were so unbelievably perfect that we all assumed she had implants.

(As I eventually found out, “Anna” was all natural…)

Anyway, allow me to rewind, explain how it went down, and give you some tips on how to approach women at the gym…

First, very few guys have any clue about how to approach women at the gym — and so they don’t even try. They think it would be weird, or awkward, to approach a woman while she’s in the middle of a workout, or cooling down and getting ready to leave.

They figure she’s in her own “zone,” focused on her exercise, and not in the mood to have some stranger walk up and start talking to her.

The funny (and ironic) thing is that most of the guys in the gym are there because they want to make themselves more attractive to women! They’re getting in shape and building up their muscles because they want girls to notice them.

And yet, when they’re actually IN the gym, they think the women there are somehow “off bounds.”

(Actually, nothing could be further from the truth. Hot girls LOVE going to the gym in their sexy outfits, so that they can get attention from guys and hopefully meet someone.)

The dudes who stand there holding barbells, wondering about how to approach women at the gym, are missing out on GOLDEN opportunities. So if you want to know how to approach women at the gym, I’ll tell you how I was finally able to score a date with “Anna” and get her back to my place for a “private lesson.”

If there’s a girl at your gym that you want to talk to, wait until she’s deep into her workout session. Don’t try to talk to her when she first shows up, or when she gets on the Stairmaster ten minutes after arriving.

Let her work up a sweat. This means she’s feeling good and her brain is releasing endorphins (our natural pleasure chemical.) Technically, she’s actually feeling a bit “high” at this stage!

And if she’s been working out hard and could use a break, she’ll welcome the chance to chill out for a minute and talk to you. (IF you approach the right way, of course.)

So here’s the gym approach that I used with Anna (as she was doing her stretches after a hard workout, causing every guy in the gym to stop and stare):

“Hey, let me ask you something real quick. You look like you keep in good shape, and my friend Jennifer just had a baby — I’m the baby’s godfather, and he is soooo adorable — and anyway, Jennifer really wants to get back in shape and lose the weight she gained from her pregnancy. Do you know any trainers you can recommend? Or maybe some exercise classes?”

This approach worked on several levels. First, I did not ask permission. I didn’t say, “Excuse me, do you mind if I ask you something?” Screw that. Never give a girl a chance to say no to you. Jump right into it…

Second, I mentioned how I am the godfather to my friend Jennifer’s adorable baby. As a woman, I’m pushing some of her emotional buttons. If I’m a “godfather” to an infant, then I must be a sensitive, loving, protective guy.

Third, I threw out a specific QUESTION that is easy for her to answer. She’s a hot chick who works out a lot. Naturally, she wants to share her knowledge on this. So she starts talking about the best way to get my friend Jennifer back in the gym…

And from there, now that I’m “in the door,” I simply need to use the right conversation tactics to BRIDGE to other topics and build a connection with her.

We spent 45 minutes talking, then I used a “stealth” move to get her number and suggest a place for us to meet on Friday night, and the rest is history. Knowing how to approach women at the gym is actually very easy, when you use the right tactics.

When you talk to women, I want YOU to stay in the “boss” role! want to be the boss.

With Teases and Qualifiers, you’re also implying that you’re not particularly interested in her, at least not sexually.

She is going to have to work to make you interested. This is the complete opposite of the approach most guys take: they make it immediately obvious that they’re interested, and eager to please.

(Note: always use a playful, flirtatious tone when you use Teasers or Qualifiers; if you ever come off sounding mean or harsh, you’ll ruin the vibe.)

For now, here are a few examples to give you an idea:

* “I don’t know if you and me can hang out: I lead a pretty adventurous, spontaneous lifestyle. (Point to a nerdy looking guy) That guy over looks like the sweet, harmless type–maybe you should go for him.”

* “I bet you’d make a great friend.”

* “You remind me of my little sister. In a cute way.”

* “You seem like a really nice person.”

* “It’s refreshing to meet someone like you who’s simple and down-to-earth. I’ve dated too many model- actress types.”

The above statements might seem like compliments, but what they imply is that you don’t find her sexually
appealing.

Keep working the conversation and building up her attraction towards you, and she’ll try to change how you view her — often by acting flirtier/sexier than she normally would.

* “Promise you’re not going to try to get me drunk and take advantage of me, ok? All I’m looking for tonight is friendly conversation.”

Here’s one that will stun her for a second (and make you look SUPER confident) :

“I can tell you’re a very cool person. It’s too bad you’re not my type.” (Then change the subject.)

Now, the question burning in her mind is, what is your type? And why doesn’t she measure up? If she asks you about this, be vague: “Oh, I’ve just normally dated girls with a certain type of look, that’s all.” (Then change the subject again.)
